ITALY, KEY IN HAND 7 Days/6 nights

To permit you to discover Italy on your own, we propose this method where you may combine the hotel accommodations in the cities you visit, plus a car rental.

Day 1:  VENICE

Arrival in Venice.  Car pick up at airport and depart for Mira, city situated 18 km from Venice, where you will be accommodated at the Hotel Riviera dei Dogi.   Remainder of day free.  Accommodation at hotel.

Day 2:  VENICE

Breakfast at hotel.  This day is dedicated to a visit, on your own, of the famous city of Venice, one of the most beautiful and enchanting cities in the world.  You will see the Bridge of Sighs, the impressive Piazza San Marco, the Palace of Dogi and ancient prisons.  Return to hotel and accommodations.

Day 3:  VENICE-VERONA

After breakfast, the morning is free.  You may return to Venice to enjoy your last moments in this famous city.  Take a stroll or a ride along the famous canals or narrow alleys to discover the beauty of this unique city.  Afternoon, departure for Verona.  Upon your arrival, check-in at De’Capuleti Hotel.  Remainder of day free.  Accommodation at hotel.

Day 4:  VERONA

After breakfast, departure for your own personal exploration of Verona.  You must see the famous “balcony” of Romeo & Juliette, as well as the Roman Arenas.  Continue your route to discover the region of the Lakes.  Later, return to Verona.  Accommodation at hotel.

Day 5:  VERONA-FLORENCE

After breakfast, departure for Florence, the city of magnificent Art and the cradle of the Renaissance.  You are free to visit the city on your own.  If you desire, you will have the opportunity to see la Piazza del Duomo, , Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, the Baptistery,

Giotto’s Campanile, a 13^th century Santa Croce Franciscan Church, and Arts Academy, where Michelangelo’s statue, the David, is kept.  Remainder of day free.  Hotel accommodation at Grifone Hotel.

Day 6:  FLORENCE

After breakfast, departure for the Tuscany Region.  You will have the opportunity to go through the cities of Pisa and see the famous leaning Tower, San Gimignano and its medieval towers or Siena, city rich in Art and History.  At the end of the day, return to Florence, accommodation at hotel.

After breakfast, departure for Rome, passing by Assisi, a religious city of Italy, named after Francesco D’Assisi, founder of the Order of Franciscans.  Return of car rental upon arrival in Rome.  End of services.

Package does not include:

-Theft of baggage and personal effects in the car

-Fuel, violations, fees for regular maintenance

-Fees for windshield repair, rearview mirror, windows, wheels, tires, parts situated under the car, interior, and roof.

-Route tax 1.5 euro/daily during a maximum of 10 days.

-Gas:  the car will have a full tank of gas upon pick-up, the car must be returned with a full tank at the end of your rental.  If you do not return car with a full tank, the rental company will charge you for the full amount including service charges.
