Day 1: MONTREAL/ROME
Transatlantic flight Montreal/Rome.
Day 2: ROME
Arrival in Rome. Private transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free. Hotel accommodation.
Day 3: ROME
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will visit the different sights and eras of Rome. The motor coach will head toward La Via Cavour, and you will visit La Piazza Della Repubblica, the Art Museum, the Fountain of Trevi (visit), the Pantheon, the largest pagan temple built by Emperor Hadrian, Piazza Navona, the most beautiful baroque area of Rome, with its famous Fountain of Four Rivers, Bernini’s Masterpiece, the Palace of Justice, The Castle Sant’Angelo, The Popes’ Ancient Fortress, Via Della Conciliazione and St. Peter’s Basilica. Evening free.
Day 4: ROME-NAPLES-POMPEI-SORRENTO Continental breakfast at hotel. This morning, departure from Rome with motor coach taking the auto route “Del Sole” crossing the region of Lazio and Campania seeing a spectacular view of Montecassino. Upon arrival in NAPLES, you will have a brief visit of the city including Castle Dell’ovo, Margellina, Plebiscito, the Royal Palace, Maschio and the Port. En route toward POMPEI, you will stop to visit a Coral & Cameo Factory. You will see the excavations of Pompei, a city destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius Volcano in 79 AD. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will continue your journey along the coastal panoramic route to Sorrento. Supper and hotel accommodations in Sorrento.
Day 5: SORRENTO-CAPRI-SORRENTO Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the Port for departure by ferry to CAPRI. Arrival in Capri Marina Grande and weather permitting, you will visit the famous BLUE GROTTO. Return to Miranda for departure to ANACAPRI. After lunch in a typical restaurant, the tour will continue to the famous Piazzetta, elegant area in the heart of Capri. Visit the Augustus Gardens with its breathtaking and panoramic view of the Faraglioni. Supper and hotel accommodations in Sorrento.
Day 6: SORRENTO/AMALFI Breakfast at hotel. In the morning you will leave for AMALFI. On route, you will see different fishing villages, one of which is POSITANO, The Pearl of the Amalfi coast. Supper and hotel accommodations in Sorrento.
Day 7: AMALFI Day is free to appreciate the beauty of this magnificent seaside resort. You may board a local bus to visit POSITANO and RAVELLO. Supper and accommodation at hotel.
Day 8: AMALFI-SORRENTO-ROME After breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to Sorrento for your return to Rome. Accommodations at hotel.
Day 9: ROME-MONTREAL Breakfast, and private transfer to the airport. End of services. Guided tours everyday of the year.
