Day 1: You will ride along the coast to arrive at Corinthe Canal
(brief stop) followed by a visit to the historical sites of Mycenae and Epidauros. Arrival in the evening in Tolo for supper and
accommodation. Day 2: Departure in the morning for Olympia. En route you will pass by Central Greece and Arcadia, the residence of the Pam God. In the afternoon you will arrive in Olympia, the cradle of the
Olympic games. Visit the Sanctuary of
the Olympian, Zeus and the museum. Supper and accommodation in Olympia.
Day 3: In
the morning, you will depart Olympia
and go through the plains of Eliad and Achaia. Arrive in Patras (capital of
Peloponnese) and take a ferry where you will cross the Gulf of Corinth that
will lead you from Rio to Antirio where you
will have lunch. After lunch you will
visit the Monastery of the Prophet Elias and then head for Delphi
where you will visit the archaeological site. Supper and accommodation in Delphi.
Day 4: In
the morning a visit to the Sanctuary of Apollo and the museum of Delphi. Departure in the afternoon for Kalambaka passing through numerous Greek villages. Supper and accommodation in Kalambaka.
Day 5: Before noon, vvisit of the monasteries of Meteora built at
the summit of huge rock formations. Return to Athens for the conclusion of
this tour via Trikala, Lamia, and Theromopylae
(a visit of the Monument
of King Leonidas). Return to Athens in the evening.
