TOUR DEPARTURES ON MONDAYS
DAY 1 MONDAY: ATHENS
Arrival in Athens airport. After passing through customs, our representative awaits for you at the airport. They will guide and assist you to your hotel, take care of your luggage and of your transfer to your hotel. For the rest of the afternoon and evening, it will be at your leisure, in order for you to discover this incredible city. Accommodation will be in Athens.

DAY 2: ATHENS-NAFPLIO
Departure for your 5 days / 4 night’s classical tour. Following breakfast will be your departure from the coast, in order to make a brief stop at the Corinth canal. From there, depart for some sightseeing of Mycenae and Epidauros’ historical sites. Arrive at night in Nafplio, for your evening supper and accommodation. |
DAY 3: NAFPLIO-OLYMPIA
Morning
departure for Olympia. You will pass by Central Greece and Arcadia, the residence of
the Pam God. In the afternoon, you will
arrive in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic
games, and visit the museum and the Temple
of Olympian Zeus. Supper and accommodation in Olympia.
DAY 4: OLYMPIA-
DELPHI
After
breakfast, you will depart Olympia
and go through the plains of Eliad and Achaia. Arrive in Patras capital of Peloponnese) and take a boat to cross the
Gulf of Corinth, which will bring you from the town of Rio to Antirio. You will make a stop for an afternoon lunch
and visit the Prophet Elias` monastery. For the rest of the afternoon, a stop
in Delphi will be made for a short visit of
the archaeological site. Supper and
accommodation in Delphi.
DAY 5: DELPHI-KALAMBAKA
After
breakfast, visit the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Delphi
museum. Departure will be made in the
afternoon for Kalambaka passing through numerous Greek villages. Supper and accommodation in Kalambaka.
DAY 6: KALAMBAKA – ATHENS
In
the morning, you will visit the monastery of Meteora, built at the summit in a rocky
formation. Back in Athens, for the conclusion of this tour; passing through
Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae. Arrive in Athens at night. Accommodation in Athens DAY 7: ATHENS
Breakfast
at the hotel, followed with a guided tour in Athens. On the top of Athens,
you will find the majestic Parthenon on the Acropolis, a constant reminder of
an unforgettable past of this ancient city. Athens a
city of contrast combines well the ancient with the new. La Plaka, old quarter of the city, with its
night life and terrace cafes, the Constitution Square, The Tomb of the Unknown
Soldier are just some attractions of the Capital of Greece. Accommodations in Athens.
DAY 8
MONDAY: DEPARTURE FOR 4-DAY CRUISE: MYCONOS
(Arrival
18:00 – Departure 22:00)
After
breakfast, the moment has arrived to commence your cruise to the Greek Islands,
and the discovery of the Aegean Sea. In the evening you will reach the first port
of call, Mykonos, a sun filled island and an
excellent tourist spot. The nightlife is
animated with bars, discotheques, and taverns, the gathering place of the
international jet set. Supper and
accommodation aboard the ship.
DAY 9: KUSADASI
(Arrival
07:00 – Departure 12:00)
During
the night, the cruise will head in the direction of Turkey. In the morning you will be in Kusadasi, its
port also being the entry to the city of Ephesus,
one of the most important archaeological reconstructions in the world.
PATMOS: (ARRIVAL 15:30 – DEAPRTURE 20:00
In
the middle of the afternoon, you will reach your second port of call of the
day: Patmos. You will admire the magnificent Monastery of
Saint John dating back to the 11th century, where magnificent
frescos and rare manuscripts are sheltered. The island is also known as the place where Saint John transcribed the Apocalypse.
DAY 10: RHODES
(Arrival
07:00 – Departure 18:00)
In
the morning you will be in Rhodes. The entire day will be dedicated to visiting
the city. Rhodes
will give you the impression of a city right out of a fairy tale. After your arrival take the opportunity to
stroll in the old quarters of the medieval era of Rhodes.

DAY 11: CRETE
(Arrival
07:00 – Departure 11:30)
After
disembarking in Crete early morning, you will
be on your own to discover this enchanting island. Situated at the tip of Africa for the
Europeans, Crete is the largest island in Greece. Optional visit of the archaeological site of Knossos, including the
museum.
SANTORINI
(ARRIVAL 16:30)
In
the afternoon the cruise will depart for Santorini. This island has, with out a doubt, the most
striking sight of the Mediterranean. This circular island was devastated by a
volcanic eruptio 3000
years ago. You will undoubtedly fall for
the charm of the dazzling, white, arched homes built in the volcanic rock, in
the principle city of Fira,
situated on the side of a mountain, 900 meters above sea level. Disembarkation in Santorini.
DAY
11-12-13: SANTORINI
Free day in Santorini
DAY 14: SANTORINI – ATHENS
After
breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for your flight to Athens. Arrival and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation in Athens.
Day 15: DEPARTURE FROM ATHENS
After
breakfast, transfer to Athens
airport for your return home. End of
services.
